This doctor recognised a lump on my neck, and asked me what scan I want despite knowing that I have no expertise in the field. I went for an x-ray (which I should not have had/didn't need) and returned. I was told that the pointless radiation exposure was my fault because "I asked for the x-ray" - does this mean that anyone who goes to Dr.Boyd and wants an x-ray just gets recommended, regardless of the possible consequences? The general lack of care and attempt to just move me onto someone else is appauling, and I'm still caught dealing with the surgery to try and get this lump seen to. Due to Dr.Boyd's nonchalence I had to waste another three hours in the surgery waiting to see another GP (who has treated me with the same amount of concern) and it has now been almost three weeks since I found the lump - with still no hope at reaching a diagnosis. This is a complete mess, and I would not trust this GP with anybody's wellbeing. Unless you are just concerned with getting some cold & flu pills, I would entirely recommend putting your care in more capable hands.

Dr. Boyd is caring, takes patients' health worries seriously and of course is an excellent doctor. What else can you ask for?
